Electric eye conversion kit for GEC Model 417/418 bag machines. 1) Converts traditional 417 and 418 bag machines into PLC controlled unit (eliminates length variator) 2) Provides ability to register seal to the print (electric eye) 3) Controls the length of the bag (up to 999.9") and dwell time through numeric keypad and function keys operator interface 4) Generates pulse signal for hole punch and shuttle limit switch (preventing web brakes) 5) Control console includes all push buttons and operator interface to control functions of the bag machine 6) Includes encoder (with mounting bracket and coupling), electric eye, solenoid valve, and limit switch. 7) Very easy installation.
