For sale: Sterling 3.5" 24:1 High Boy Extruder, 1980. Features a 75 hp DC motor with new SCR control, 54" centerline height, and updated temperature panel. Model includes heated air-cooled barrel and gear reduction. No hopper included.
Used 3.5" Sterling 24/1 L/D single screw extruder. Serial #36849, new 1980. Has electrically heated air cooled barrel with 54" center line height and tucked under belt driven, 75 hp DC motor with new "Spedester" Polyspede SCR control, 460 volt AC input. 13.95/1 gear reduction. Has top center feed throat with 6" x 6" opening. Reported reconditioned temperature panel with new Autonics temperature controllers, new Eurotherm pressure controllers, new Mercury relays and contactors. 54" center line height. Extruder is standard 42" centerline height. No hopper included.
