Description:
This is a central shredder with conveyors (2 outfeeds, 1 infeed) and a gaylord tipper. The shredder is a 60hp Vecoplan model RG42/60XL. It was manufactured in 2008, Serial #11351010.
This system was used for product destruction. It ran until it was moved out of the facility in October 2025. The gaylord tipper feeds the inclined infeed conveyor. The shredder outputs onto a slightly inclined conveyor which feeds a secondary inclined conveyor that drops the shred into a gaylord box.
The Gaylord Tipper is a 120V single phase unit. It is mounted on a steel c-channel base on caster wheels. Its capacity is 2500lbs. The pivot arm is supported by flush-mount bearings, which ensure smooth operation and durability. A steel panel was added to the front to protect the hydraulics. A PVC-Flex sheet is attached to the tipper bin to keep the material being tipped from falling into any gap between the tipper and the conveyor.
The infeed and outfeed conveyors are 480V/3phase units. They are all wired directly into and controlled by the Vecoplan control panel.
The shredder has a single hydraulic cylinder on the ram. There are a hopper and a hopper top on top of that.
A package of brand-new wear parts is included: Drive Belt, hydraulic oil filter, Ram Guide Rails, Ram Face wipers, springs, and washers. Rubber pads to set the shredder on are also included (inside the hopper currently).
This system is available As-Is, Where-Is in Eloy, Arizona 85131. It can all be transported in a 53’ dry Van trailer.
